Quellcode

mark@Marks-PC:~> geogebra Unrecognized option: -p Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

Wo ist da das Problem?

Ich habe das Problem auch schon mal in diesem Forum gestellt : https://www.opensuse-forum.de/thread/42385-geogebra-funktioniert-nicht/?pageNo=1

Hi, TW version doesn't build, even after fixing the deps.

See: https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log/home:frispete:Tumbleweed/geogebra/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/x86_64

My son uses your version from 03/13, but that start script is dysfunctional as well. $ geogebra Unrecognized option: -p Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

After setting BASE_OPTIONS="", geogebra executes again, but no idea, if this has other unwanted side effects.

Hi! Please tell which Java version you use? Which output from the command "java -version"? Versions of java-openjdk < 11 do not recognize -p option. I suppose that you are using java 1.8.0. Try to install java-11-openjdk manually and launch GG. Try to launch GG by the command "JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib64/jvm/java-11/ geogebra". What is contained in the file /etc/java/geogebra.conf? I'll try to figure it out. Thank you for report.

If you want to build the clone of my GG in your repository, you need to use my openjfx package for build, not the official release v11.0.6, but mine v15, and its dependencies (ffmpeg-4 and maybe whatever else). All packages needed to build GG are contained in my repository home:concyclic:java. I just fixed something, and the recent version of openjfx build again successfully for TW. GG (which depends on openjfx) also build successfully. Try it and report any troubles.

Thank you for report.
