Network Link Manager and User Applications

NetworkManager attempts to keep an active network connection available
at all times. The point of NetworkManager is to make networking
configuration and setup as painless and automatic as possible.	If
using DHCP, NetworkManager is intended to replace default routes,
obtain IP addresses from a DHCP server, and change name servers
whenever it sees fit.

NetworkManager-1.6 does not work with "wpa_supplicant-2.2" from the distribution and refuses to connect wireless networks. Since "wpa_supplicant-2.6" from the "hardware" repository does not work at all, I could not check it with it.

This is old test repo. There was NM1.4 and it worked but hadn't fixed my problem. So I just forgot about it and haven't removed. Are you need it?

I am interested in a newer version of NetworkManager as a workaround to a bug with the network status indicator: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1021979. It is claimed (here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=836226) that the network indicator works properly with NM1.4.2 (and not with 1.4!).

NM-1.6.2 works properly with wpa_supplicant-2.6 from the hardware repository and fixes the bug I have mentioned above.

Ok, so I will keep this repo.
