It looks like there are some symlinks missing e.g. optirun nvidia-smi fails. I had to create this symlinks:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib64/libcuda.so.$version /usr/lib64/libcuda.so.1
sudo ln -s /usr/lib64/libnvidia-ml.so.$version /usr/lib64/libnvidia-ml.so.1
sudo ln -s /usr/lib64/libnvidia-opencl.so.$version /usr/lib64/libnvidia-opencl.so.1

Strange, they've created in my case. And optirun nvidia-smi runs fine.

Have you checked log for errors?
