Hi, I just delivered another patch in another branch for RAM usage and will do another one for CPU usage. Why limit to 28 cores? my comment there: I'll probably add a limit on CPU Cores used aswell..... but first I will need to test around. According to man pages / official manual zram uses all available cores for compression anyways, just the handling needs to be assigned. Any counter info? My assumptions: it is better to use less then all cores available on systems with more then one core. My suggestion: 50% of cores with max of 16. Any counter suggestions?

Hopefully we can finetune zram and push it to main.

Because i think there is a kernel limit of no more then 28 swaps. I was not able to create more then 28, this resulted in an error, so i placed the limit

Actually this systemd is a little bit outdated, I'm making a completelly new one, with the amount of time I am able to invest it might be a silvester release or so :-) I'll post the link after my first test release, maybe you'll like it.

https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:Mihail-Klr/zramservice This one will create one drive for swap, and it will use all available cores for compression. Check it out.
