Text-to-speech preprocessor for conversion of numbers to german words

Edit Package numfilt

Numfilt is a filter-program that reads ASCII-Text from stdin and writes modified ASCII-Text to stdout. It converts digits to the corresponding german words (e. g. '6' to 'sechs'). By default numfilt forms numbers when more than one non-delimited digits are found in the text (e. g. '123' to 'Einhundertdreiundzwanzig'), decimal fractions (e. g. '3,14' to 'drei Komma vierzehn'), sequence numbers (e. g. '1.' to 'erstens') and replaces newline characters by white space.
