There are still some things you have to do in order to finish Sympa's

Post Upgrade instructions (
1) Wizard for showing and installing dependencies
	/usr/lib/sympa/bin/ --check

2)	Upgrade DB und configuration files
	/usr/lib/sympa/bin/ --upgrade

Post Installation instructions:

1)	- Create a mysql database and user for Sympa.
	root@host:~> mysql
    mysql> CREATE DATABASE sympa CHARACTER SET utf8;
    mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON sympa.* TO <db_user>@<client host> IDENTIFIED BY '<db_passwd>';
	mysql> QUIT

	- Create database scheme. You may use /usr/lib/sympa/create_db.mysql for this purpose:
    user@host:~> mysql -u sympa -p
    Enter password:
    mysql> source /usr/lib/sympa/scripts/create_db.mysql

2) Customize the configuration files /etc/sympa/sympa.conf and
   /etc/sympa/wwsympa.conf. You can either do this manually, or use The important setting are:

	- http_host
	- domain
	- listmaster
	- lang
	- db_type
	  => set this to "mysql"
	- db_name
	- db_host
	- db_user
	- db_passwd
	- wwsympa_url

3) Add (or modify) the following line in /etc/postfix/

	alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases, hash:/etc/sympa/mail/aliases

   and reload postfix:

	systemctl reload postfix.service

4) Replace "" by your domain name in /etc/sympa/mail/aliases and
   run newaliases.

5) Reload apache2 to make wwsympa accessible:

	systemctl reload apache2.service
    Note: Web server must run with same user as sympa service (sympa user).
    There are some options listed:
    In the apache vhost file delivered with this package, the suExec method is used.
    For the suExec method to work, you need to chmod 4755 the suexec binary (/usr/sbin/suexec2)

6) You can now enable and start Sympa:

	systemctl enable sympa.service
	systemctl start sympa.service

	After that, visit in your webbrowser
    and create an account using the email address of the listmaster
    you entered in the config file.
	- If sympa.service fails to start with the following error:
		Can't locate HTML/StripScripts/ in @INC (you may need to install the HTML::StripScripts::Parser module) ...
    	Please execute the following command as root:
    	perl -MCPAN -e'install HTML::StripScripts::Parser'
	- If cgi-wrapper fails to start with the following error:
    	Can't locate MIME/Lite/ in @INC (you may need to install the MIME::Lite::HTML module) ...
        MIME::Lite::HTML needs to be installed manually:
        It suffices if the module is built and the file is copied in the right place.
        The right place is: perl-module-dir/MIME/Lite/
