%description measures code coverage, typically during test execution. It uses
the code analysis tools and tracing hooks provided in the Python standard
library to determine which lines are executable, and which have been executed.

%setup -q -n coverage-%{version}

python build

python install --prefix=%{_prefix} --root=%{buildroot}
rm %{buildroot}%{_bindir}/coverage
ln -s %{_bindir}/coverage-%{py_ver} %{buildroot}/%{_bindir}/coverage

#NOTE(saschpe): The following seems to mess with the install dir, which is odd:
# Taken straight from tox.ini:
#python develop
#python zip_mods install_egg remove_extension
#python test_with_tracer py
#python --quiet build_ext --inplace
#python test_with_tracer c

# Since /usr/bin/coverage became ghosted to be used with update-alternatives, we have
# to get rid of the old binary resulting from the non-update-alternativies-ified package:
[ -h %{_bindir}/coverage ] || rm -f %{_bindir}/coverage

update-alternatives \
    --install %{_bindir}/coverage coverage %{_bindir}/coverage-%{py_ver} 20

if [ $1 -eq 0 ] ; then
    update-alternatives --remove coverage %{_bindir}/coverage-%{py_ver}

%ghost %{_bindir}/coverage
