Lakeshore Linux GNOME

This project is an attempt to provide a Linux distribution that just works out of the box. Lakeshore Linux provides a GNOME desktop, which is appropriate for those hybrid tablet/laptop systems that are growing in dominance in today's consumer market, and contains enough software to get things done productively.

Firefox, Thunderbird and LibreOffice are applications included for everyday online tasks. Programming language support is for C, C++, ObjectiveC, Go, and Ada with more coming soon as I find these languages while working with OBS and the Kiwi repository.

Also included are VLC, Audacity, Rhythmbox, Texmaker and Lyx.

UEFI support is (so far) not included as I have been building this on an aging laptop. (HP Compaq 8510p which has a standard BIOS and is too old to accommodate a SSD drive.)
