  * Stack overflow in vararg functions with many fixed parameters 
    called with few arguments. 
  * Garbage collector can trigger too many times in recursive loops.
  * Wrong assert when reporting concatenation errors (manifests only 
    when Lua is compiled in debug mode). 
  * Wrong error message in some short-cut expressions. 
  * luac listings choke on long strings.
