Also, this change fix this bug : https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1204138
That will add ~ 30MB to the DVD and Live ISO (lives probably have enough spare, DVD is getting close to the limit)
I'll let you use your "Release manager hat" to decide this - all I can say is that it seems like some users expect to find the default backgrounds available. That does not however mean that we have to cater to them :-)
