- Split mandoc into a bin subpackage: tools like rpm2docserv rely
on mandoc to render the html pages, but they might be also wanted
on systems that do not want to replace the entire man
infrastructure.

you can save a lot of space by replacing the other man on that system and mandoc works just as well. We should drop man in favor of mandoc really :-)
That other system has Leap 15.4 and a too old RPM to support this fancy mandoc.
And not everybody WANTS to replace working man - I want mandoc to render html pages :)
Yes, but somebody should do something about the scriptlets … currently any update of manpages on my system causes rpm to stall for ten minutes or more.
