Since "SLE 16" (or some product with suse_version==1600) is not released yet to the best of my knowledge, subid could still be added to it. But if SUSE:ALP:Source:Standard:0.1/shadow is anything to go by, subid already exists in ALP anyway.

You are right, libsubid is available in ALP. Superseded.
