That's good news! Unfortunately we require the old django-q as part of our Mailman setup - HyperKitty depends on it. :-( https://gitlab.com/mailman/hyperkitty/-/blob/master/pyproject.toml?ref_type=heads#L24

Upstream PR https://github.com/Koed00/django-q/pull/737 was closed , because they dont want to maintain it.
Thanks. I have also done https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1138409 to run the tests.
