Thanks for adding this. I analyzed this further and found out that at the same time all the stuff in the spec file above about SOURCE_DATE and FAKE_BUILDDATE can be removed. Upstream changed the way how to determine the build year and now defining the BUILD_YEAR is the only thing which is necessary. So please also clean-up this unnecessary stuff.
