To Factory maintainers: hey, this change adds
Requires: /usr/bin/zstd
. Could you please also update the Factory prjconf to includeFileProvides: /usr/bin/zstd zstd
? Otherwise, it will lead to unresolvables:unresolvable: nothing provides /usr/bin/zstd needed by libvirt-daemon-driver-qemu
. Thanks.Hi, where did you see this unresolvable?
It was in
virt-launcher-container
: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/Virtualization/virt-launcher-container. As a temporary fix I've addedFileProvides: /usr/bin/zstd zstd
to https://build.opensuse.org/projects/Virtualization/prjconf, therefore now the build is green.Alternatively I could change that to 'Requires: zstd', but better to handle it like the other compression binaries IMO.
Yeah, after asking around and some conversations, my understanding is that having
/usr/bin/zstd
is a proper way to go. Just the prjconf may need an update.
