motif is maintained as openmotif source package. I don't see that you intend to replace this one, which would be logical, so I assume you simple don't know about it. So please rebase the update on top of devel:libraries:c_c++/openmotif, add proper changes entry and I'll happily forward it to openSUSE:Factory. Thanks for understanding!

openmotif is released under a non-oss license... last time when I checked was in the non-oss repo... motif 2.3.4 is the opensource release that superseeds openmotif 2.3.3... I see no reason why we shall keep the old openmotif name...

Please work on top of openmotif, we can rename it later on. Just add Provides: motif = %{version} for now.
