2) Wrong macro in description

Instead of %{datadir} I guess you want to use %{_datadir} in %description, right?

3) wrong place for /usr/lib/MOPS/mops.cfg

As long as mops.cfg is a configuration file, please place it in /etc/ to follow the FHS. You might want to place a symlink in /usr/lib/MOPS/ if the binary does not support a commandline directive, but having config files below /etc/ is mandatory.

4) python bytecode files

You might wanna have a look at http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_Python#Byte_Compiled_Files as it looks like your .pyc files are not not accompanied by their original source files (.py)

The source package 'MOPS' has been removed
