I have read http://opensource.org/osd.html as referenced by opensuse.org and think the license should comply: There are no restrictions for the redistribution of the software which could concern openSUSE and the distributor is now free to publish derived works on his own any time he wants.

Package has lately been submitted to debian-mentors and a pre-review of the license has shown several issues. Now a new version of the license (S-FSL v1.3.3) has been submitted to debian legal.
