I apologize for ignoring your requests up to now. The reason was, that it didn't get any attention upstream on the mailing list and we're currently busy with other tasks than taking patches, which might never get upstream.
Today I discussed the situation with other SUSE developers and we figured out, that your patches have been merged by Peter Hutterer and requested for pull to Keith Packard. So they are going to become upstream rather soon now.
In short, I'm happily accepting this request now. Thanks a lot for your patience!
