Request 298485 revoked

This is a memory bug in long running perl scripts I'm searching for some month now. The included fix seems to solve it for 5.16.2 (openSUSE 12.3). I'm now testing it for 5.18.1 (openSUSE 13.1) and current (openSUSE 13.2). Build and tests work and system was stable for one day and valgrind showed that memory leak (definitely lost) was reduced a lot.

I'd like to get that fix into 13.1 and 13.2 update, as that affects nearly any long running perl task. Is that possible? How's the procedure? I have packages for each version in my home repository.

dstoecker revoked request

I keep my own build and revoke this request. Seems bugfixes are unwanted.
