I was hoping you would at some point explain why you want that package here, but let me decline as I would expect this package in utilities project

I mean YAD has a higher status as Zenity or dialog, because YAD has much more features to make a complex GUI with buttons, text entries, checkboxes in a bash script.

but this should go to utilties - not here
