Thanks, but please no packages with enabled services and with spec files that contain obsolete macros such as %{__make} and at same time lacks desireable macros for (i.e ./configure vs %configure).

I haven't noticed the different ffmpeg versions yet. This depends on the build system and which packages are available there. So I guess on packman this is ffmpeg 2.8 and with latest openSUSE versions this is 3.2. Even for older openSUSE versions (e.g. 13.1) this package compiles with 2.8.
Main difference to Packman is the configuration support for multiple server instances.
If you have the opportunity to change the spec-file in the pakeman untie it from ffmpeg 2.8, then please do it. I do not know how to send patches to Packman. And so I can only push to Factory this version.
It is nothing I can setup in the spec file (apart from forcing ffmpeg >= 3.2), but it depends on the build system environment. On packman you have to kindly ask the maintainer of the package to do some changes. This at least worked for me once. :)
From Packman spec: BuildRequires: pkgconfig(libavcodec) = 56.60.100 BuildRequires: pkgconfig(libavformat) = 56.40.101 BuildRequires: pkgconfig(libavutil) = 54.31.100 it's wrong, need semple BuildRequires: pkgconfig(libavcodec) BuildRequires: pkgconfig(libavformat) BuildRequires: pkgconfig(libavutil) or BuildRequires: libavformat-devel
But i can't understand how and who send request about it.
How know who maintaner this package on Packman and his email? http://packman.links2linux.org/package/minidlna
I see. Packman is explicitely requiring a certain ffmpeg version whereas I somehow take what I can get from the distribution, like this:
BuildRequires: libavformat-devel
Send email to Packman Team in order to propose a ffmpeg version change.
Thank you for email, i'm reported. :-)
