Upstream patch? Even thiugh gpk is no longer the main tool, Richard is still accepting patches and fixes
Yes. Upstream bug filed as https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=782673
Please update the patch tag line in this case: add the bug ref (and make it a PATCH-FIX-UPSTREAM; then I think we are good to go

Please note that you are "fixing" the desktop file too - I'm not sure we actually want to have the local file install active, afik it fails currently.
-suse_update_desktop_file gpk-install-local-file +%suse_update_desktop_file gpk-install-local-file
I just tested gpk-install-local-file and it works well.
