Overview
Don't just copy descriptions! 8x faster than what -- a monkey with a typewriter, or Lt. Cmdr. Data?
Than LZMA itself, I assume. Should I inquire about the particular implementation used as comparison?
LZMA is an algorithm, whose performance is described with Big O notation, and all of the non-esoteric compression codecs operate in O(n) time, because double/triple/4x the amount of bytes means 2x/3x/4x the amount of time.
If I understand correctly, you're calling...bovine manure on the claim. Waiting for the author to reply.
