You did not mention update to new version in the changelog.

0.12 is the last (upstream) version.

That reply makes me sad.

You did not write in the changelog you updated to current upsteam release.
Release 0.12 is well defined so you can just write which exact release you used. It might have been current when you worked on the package but in a week or in a year the current version might be different. You might even pick one that is different from current for whatever reason.

Finally, you did not provide any bug or fate report which explains why we need this package.

I suggest you keep it in your home repo if you want to use it.

oh, right. The patches were not dropped because of an update but because they were not cleaned up in previous update. The change log kind of does not make that clear.

If I do it right and clean, will you accept it? Or the main problem is that we don't need it in HEAD? If not in HEAD, tell me please where it make more sense.

It makes more sense in your home repo where you can build it for any distro you use.

As I have no idea what features this package provides we are currently lacking and I have no use for it myself I guess it will be the same for majority of other openSUSE users.
