Actually, if between submitter and the GNOME maintainers there is ANY doubt about this submission, I am going to have to ask you to take this through SLE maintenance. That's SUSE:SLE-12-SP3:Update/tracker in the internal build service. @chorler can you please make sure that the SLE Gnome maintainers have all the required bugs, ask them nicely to proceed this for SLE to be inherited into Leap maintenance, thanks.
Re: OBS request #579801 - requested to redirect for SLE Gnome Maintainers to proceed.
This fix is also needed for SLE and Leap

patches
Changes:
- Fix gstreamer v4l2 NETLINK socket seccomp issue (bnc#1017652)
- Fix gst-plugin-scanner fork seccomp issue (bnc#1017652)
- Fix coredumps on some miners. (bgo#787541, bnc#1017652)
This one has the correct maintenance target. Waiting for GNOME:Factory review
I'll not yet accept it - as I want to keep it on my table; Most of the stuff probably also needs to be ported into the GNOME:Factory package (where the miners are split and the seccomp code now lives in tracker-miners package); I'll try to get to this today or tomorrow, to ensure we don't lose those fixes (but the fixes per se look fine - the new ones I miss upstream references though)
There are two bugs upstream where it's probably worth adding
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=776117
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=764786
The second is probably more appropriate (but marked as resolved... I guess it could be REOPENED)
I also note, upstream has some difference between what calls they allow w.r.t. dup2, dup3, openat between the 1.8 branch and the 1.12 branch
not sure of the reasoning for this
