Lash has a pending delete request and is scheduled for removal, which will render this package uninstallable.

And KDE:KDE3? For an app using Qt5?

David Sterba's avatar

Muse has been in KDE3 historically, but does not seem to be the right project with the qt5 port.

Please find this a better home then...

According to the README of muse, ladish is also supported.

Looking at the delete request https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/576999 it is not clear to me whether the package will be removed or not. And if yes, if ladish will be available as replacement.

Seeing that there is effort to minimize ypthe users of lash, i'd be confident that this drop will happen. As for ladish, that seems not alive neither.

Please bring this to the opensuse factory mailing list, as there the relevant parties involved in the removal should be present too.

Thanks

Please discuss the planned removal of lash with its maintainer and, if still suitable, find a better devel place than KDE3
