Good news is --> you can send correct patch to https://github.com/opensuse-haskell/configuration/tree/master/patches repository
I'll talk to Tomas about this issue. Maybe spec-cleaner can auto-fix this kind of issue for us automatically.
This issue is fixed in cabal2spec now: https://github.com/peti/cabal2spec/commit/e0a798d6dc8e6f0326ced884c565ed374a99be55
