Seems to break xen: https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log/openSUSE:Factory:Staging:G/xen/standard/i586
CC @olh @charlesa (maintainers of XEN): acpi 20180508 breaks xen build
Also breaks virtualbox
CC @lwfinger - maintainer of virtualbox (acpi 20180508 breaks vbox)
I have checked out the project and I will submit an update to Factory when the problem is fixed. Thanks for the notification.
I used the following to checkout the project:
osc bco --nodevelproject openSUSE:Factory:Staging:G:DVD virtualbox
That one builds with no problem. What am I doing wrong?
Do you mean this?: +1527854400 carnold@suse.com - bsc#1092543 - GCC 8: xen build fails + gcc8-fix-warning-on-i586.patch This is not related to acpica package. The bug got fixed meanwhile, please double check with the bsc#1092543.
I submitted the next version, can the package please get re-build, re-staged and (when probably everything is building fine) be pushed.
