It would be nice if you could provide more info from bsc#1111388.

In particular I fail to see reason for using this path: %{_libexecdir}/openldap/DB_CONFIG

Note that bsc#1111388 is not public.

Note that I had to add an emergency fix to this submission once it was accepted (missed in review)

+%tmpfiles_create openldap.conf

Was invalid in two ways:

• the tmpfiles.d conf file is in the main package, hence, the tmpfiles_create call should be there too
• having -p /sbin/ldconfig disallows for any further commands in the post script (ldconfig does not interpret any further input files - %post -p FOO will pass the sccriptlet as parameter to FOO to be interpretet)
