Sorry that I have to say that. But with every problem comes the answer: "unfortunately ... is from SLE". I'm really curious what echo the 15.1 will get. For my taste, the 15.1 is already outdated before it is published. Many packages are already outdated. Just as an example: twisted in 15.1 is from 2017! I am also for stable packages. But if they are that old, they should be renewed. Is rigid adherence to SLE really always so useful?
old is not a criteria. However package in SLE can be updated. Just someone has to do that in time.
@tbechtold this is your pkg, could you look into possibility of updating it?
