@michals is it https://github.com/LuaJIT/LuaJIT/pull/54/ ? If not how much it differs? If it is, I think I can just live with one large patch https://github.com/LuaJIT/LuaJIT/pull/54.patch. Also, what do you know, if anything, about https://github.com/LuaJIT/LuaJIT/pull/395 ?

The #54 is older than the code in the separate repo. I did not look for s390x so did not find the other PR.

Looking through https://github.com/LuaJIT/LuaJIT/issues/42 it does not seem upstream is much interested in merging the ppc64le port.

There is problem with testing - there is no luajit testsuite. The only way to test is to use luajit on the platform and run tests for whatever you build with it.

And since there is no official approved port people are not willing to merge the support to enable such testing.
