* bind-address = 127.0.0.1 replaced by skip-networking
* enable mysql slow log
* set sql_mod the same as in MySQL
* load rocksdb plugin for architectures that support it
- Rename my.ini to my.cnf
- Add rocksdb.cnf

  • bind-address = 127.0.0.1 replaced by skip-networking

    • I don't see a reason why to use skip-networking. "skip-networking" was used in the old MySQL packages but MariaDB upstream uses bind-address in their packages now.

  • enable mysql slow log

    • Why do you think that it should be enabled for all users by default? I think that it should be up to users to decide if they have a DB with a slow SQL queries or not.

  • set sql_mod the same as in MySQL

    • Why? This is a highly subjective setting.
