There is one more thing. The package should be called `libv3270` (following the upstream name; Package Naming Guideline), and `libv3270-5_2` should then be a `%package` within that (Shared Library Packaging Guideline). This is because when the SO version changes, you would have to make a new package (`libv3270-5_3`); with the SLPP scheme, only a section of an existing .spec needs updating. Using a version in the name directly (like done in this request) is generally used only when a fixed (=static/unchanging) version/generation is added that is not necessarily the most-recent version. (for example "ffmpeg-2") I hope this makes sense.
