@namtrac: Maybe you want to have a look. This removes an old patch of yours that was manually setting the revision, probably to give an indication of which changes had landed. (Subversion revisions are consecutive numbers.)
Recently the upstream repository switched from Subversion to git though, and a git hash is probably net very helpful. Essentially it just duplicates the version number in a not-very-readable way.
