This creates a failure on Leap , but it is probably not a good idea to be hiding it.

I couldnt see anything about it upstream.

This package is only used by shodan-gnuradio , so it doesnt have much impact on Leap, and seem worthwhile hunting down how to fix this on Leap, as a new Leap will likely be released before a fix is found / released from upstream.

export LANG=en_US.UTF8 should fix it, py2 does not handle that well i guess?

I was hoping it would, but it didnt. I am guessing it will still be needed if anyone wants to get Leap working, but keeping it there at least means people dont guess that might be the problem.
