Stefan, I suggest you have a look at open requests considering you want to see the work, it will also direct you into the branch project, where you can see that 2 YEARS OLD verilator that is lined to Factory is, among other things being updated.

I aparently do need to be a maintainer to accept such requests, Yosys was not touched for 4 years, yet you found enough time to revoke this request and did not take a look at the package requests in the queue...

Your submission does not qualify as proper maintenance. When you think this is sufficient, you have just proven you still have to learn.
