hm.. on a default gnome we have adwaita-icon-theme, kde gets their oxygen or whatever installed. Why do we need gnome-icon-theme, if other themes can be (and are) used anyway?

then this seems to be gtk doing a fallback to an icon theme other than the configured one.. nasty
