can't install python3-ansible-compat-2.0.2-1.1.noarch:
nothing provides python3.8dist(subprocess-tee) >= 0.3.5 needed by python3-ansible-compat-2.0.2.noarch
(we have python38-subprocess-tee-0.3.5-1.1.noarch)
%{?python_enable_dependency_generator} is not properly worked out to be reliable

Works for me:
You made an invaid test:
python3.8dist(subprocess-tee) >= 0.3.5
is not provided by the package in TumbleweedThanks! It looks like the setup.py in the subprocess-tee has no valid version information. Going to fix that in the evening or so.
@sebix This is just a bug in this SPEC file. According to https://github.com/openSUSE/python-rpm-macros/pull/40 we agreed NOT to use
%{?python_enable_dependency_generator}
, because we don’t support correct generation of all those symbols. If you use it and it breaks, it is just your own fault. Of course, I know that.egg-info
information is poorly maintained and we are not going to fix it.Then https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_Python#Automatic_Runtime_Requirements_Determination should be removed?
See my email to the python list.
