If you're interested in helping maintain the GNOME Stack in openSUSE, please join the fun in either #opensuse-gnome IRC room, on Libera Chat, or "openSUSE GNOME" Matrix/Discord room. There is surely some task ready for you.

openSUSE Leap borrows packages from SLE. The content of the build media is almost the same as Leap:15.2, but the development is drastic different. It includes the binaries (instead of the sources) directly from SLE.

This project provides open source packages for SUSE Linux Enterprise 15.

Any user who wishes to have the newest packages that include, but are not limited to, the Linux kernel, SAMBA, git, desktops, office applications and many other packages, will want Tumbleweed. Tumbleweed appeals to Power Users, Software Developers and openSUSE Contributors. If you require the latest software stacks and Integrated Development Environment or need a stable platform closest to bleeding edge Linux, Tumbleweed is the best choice for you.
