Print lines matching a pattern
http://www.gnu.org/software/grep/
The grep command searches one or more input files for lines
containing a match to a specified pattern. By default, grep prints
the matching lines.

patterns like \w and ^H go back to using ASCII rather
likely to fix this and change the behavior of \w and ^H
