I can see that Xarchiver project is actively maintained again, would you be interested in submitting it to Factory?
In case Xarchiver becomes the X-archiver by default in the Xfce pattern, then Yes. ;)
Personally I don’t have a problem making such change, as long as it’s well maintained and the program itself works well. But I think that first you should announce it in Factory ML as new package for Factory first and maybe mention the idea of making it default for Xfce too. Either way we cannot add it to the pattern unless the package is in Factory :).
One thing that kinda bothers me and can potentially raise red flags is the "* No changes documented since 0.5.4." . Having an outdated changelog upstream doesn't look very good.
