kanshi
kanshi allows you to define output profiles that are automatically enabled and disabled on hotplug. For instance, this can be used to turn a laptop's internal screen off when docked.

Hello, are you planning to submit this to Factory?
No current plans but there's nothing stopping me from trying. I've stopped using kanshi personally so I have not kept this package up to date since then.
