Is this plug in still maintained? From git, there haven't been significant commits since 2016 and I believe it's being replaced by the pulseaudio plugin.
I'm still using this on my main workstation.
Ok was just making sure :)
This will no longer build in Xfce 4.16. I know the maintainer is working on either a port to gtk3 or a brand new one from scratch. Either way we will probably need to drop this package.
I we should not drop it yet to have it for a replacement via Obsoletes: in place.
here is the WIP: https://gitlab.xfce.org/apps/xfce4-mixer/-/commits/multiple-backends/
This has been unresolvables in openSUSE:Factory for a long time now; either we get a fix or we drop it until we get a buildable version again (note: one pattern has a requires on it; that needs to be corrected too)
Upstream is working on a rewritten version of it but it's taking longer than anticipated. There is no ETA so we can drop it for now and add again in the future.
