Hi! First of all, thanks for packaging Zotero. It is a lifesaver for school work. Can you add the
libgthread-2.0.so.0
package as a dependency? This version of Zotero would fail to start without it. Also, I would like to submit some changes like this in the future. Where can I find documentation for packaging for OpenSUSE?Hey, sorry I missed your comment -- sure, I will test the dependency change.
As for more generally contributing, maybe start here: https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Build_Service or https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Packaging
Zotero is a difficult package because it is extremely difficult to build from scratch. This is just a binary repackaging. So in the current state it will never be in the main distribution.
Hello! I was recently excited to discover that Zotero 7 has been released. Might you be interested in updating to it in the near future, it looks like it should be fairly straightforward to do so?
It took some work but I've updated the package to 7.0.7. Still seeing some odd behaviour with the titlebar and client-side decorations code
Hmm, that's a bit annoying. I'll see how I go with the update. Thanks for putting the work in to get v7 though, it's appreciated :)
