Well, r18 passes local RPMBuild but fails on OBS... Why.

Although this package seems to be more picky with the whole build process and use of any of the standard build macros that are acclaimed to make life easier.
Latest version of this tool has significant rewrite and port to GTK3/4 including helper tools. This additionally allows the user to read compressed wavedumps (e.g: GZipped VCDs) greatly reducing disc space requirements, which may or may not be better for your usecase depending on your CPU.
Note: It is also fairly trivial to add support to common opensource tools with VCD dumpers to write GZipped output.
