When is the 2.0 version expected? I saw it appear on github about two weeks ago and the extra functions are very handy for me.

Today :) the package has been built and we are just waiting for the scheduler to pick it up.
Sorry for the delay!

Thanks a lot, I just saw the update! I was already worrying that it wouldn't get updated anymore. I appreciate your work to make it easy to install and update this excellent matrix-client.

How about adding this to official repos?

I would be interested in this, but I never got around to looking at the standards for building Go programs with OBS to get this up to scratch. I will take another look at it though, thanks!

What exactly do you need help with? I would recommend to install
spec-cleaner
and runspec-cleaner -i *.spec
. Then submit to a fitting devel repo (probablynetwork:messaging:matrix
) so you need to doosc sr network:messaging:matrix
. The repo maintainers will do a review so if there is something wrong you get your first review. And when you from there submit to Factory (osc sr openSUSE;Factory
) you will get another review ;)
