collectd is a daemon (written in C) that reads various system
statistics and updates RRD files. Statistics are very fine grained
with an update interval of 10 seconds.

do not create a journal entry for every PUTVAL e.g. from the exec plugin, collectd-5.4.1-exec-no-output.diff, some other cleanups I am using this for over 2 years now, it's time to get this into factory / Leap proper :-)
