Thanks for providing these packages. They are very useful to test Qt 6 without having to take the effort myself.

The alpha will be out in september. When the build stabilizes, I'll move the packages somewhere in the KDE: tree.

Did you encounter issues with the packages?

I think we should move the repos to the KDE tree now as the release candidates are available and the final release is only days away. https://download.qt.io/development_releases/qt/6.0/6.0.0-rc2/submodules/

Sounds good.

Some packages are currently failing which is causing inconsistencies (resulting in linker errors) but that's expected at this point. Otherwise I only found bugs which need to be addressed by upstream (QTBUG-86424, QTBUG-85352). My Qt Widgets applications were actually surprisingly easy to port and seem to work. I couldn't test Qt Quick so far because all my applications which use it also use some KDE dependencies which are not available at this point.

The last update is in a better state. From now on, I'll disable publishing before updating the snapshots to avoid severe breakage if qtdeclarative fails to build.

I think qtbase has stabilized a bit, updates of qtbase is no longer breaking the build for my project anymore.

That's the expected result, I'm now disabling packages publishing to ensure the core packages (qtbase, qtdeclarative, qttools... build).

I'm using my own repo cloned from yours. I'm talking about changes in the Qt 6 codebase, previously they still removed and changed functionality that broke my project builds.
