ghmessen
========

The program GHMessen is used to collect data from computer measuring
interfaces, f.e. the different CASSY interfaces (CASSY is a
registered trademark of LD DIDACTIC GmbH),
the PHYWE Elektrofeldmeter (11500.10) with serial interface
(PHYWE is a registered trademark by PHYWE),
Arduino Uno (SainSmart, R3) with ultrasonic sensor and the Vernier Go! Link
(Go! Link is a registered trademark by Vernier Software GmbH).

Status
------
CASSY: all interfaces are supported by means of a library (ldapi.jar)
provided by LD DIDACTIC GmbH

Vernier: Go! Link is supported by means of a c library provided
by Vernier Software GmbH

PHYWE Elektrofeldmeter is supported by RXTX interface

Arduino Uno(SainSmart, R3) is supported by RXTX interface

Currently supported LD Didactic sensors:
all sensors are supported by means of a library (ldapi.jar)
provided by LD DIDACTIC GmbH

Currently supported Vernier sensors:
All sensors supported by Go! Link
should work, though your mileage may
vary.

Tested with:
Magnetic field sensor (MG)
Gas pressure sensor (GPS)
Temperature sensor (TMP)
Light sensor (TI-LIGHT)
Student Force Sensor (SFS)
EKG Sensor (EKG)

and some others

Installation
------------
For serial adapters to work, it is necessary that
the user is able to open and lock the device file.
For openSUSE Linux the user has to be member of group "lock".
